Grace Outreach Center and The Grind is hosting a School Supply and Backpack Drive.  Join us for this free event!  In preparation for the Fall 2010 school semester.  Grace Outreach Center is inviting you to participate this FREE event August 28. 2010 located at Grace Outreach Center in our Multi-Purpose facility. We are providing common school supply items along with backpacks to our community.  Please register to participate in this event, as spots are limited, the first 75 students registered will be guaranteed a backpack.  You can register by phone – 972-985-1112 x135; or by email Thegrind@graceoutreachcenter.org; or by filling out the registration form below.  Please register by August 20^th.

Email us a photo of your child and/or family that you took this summer so we can show a photo video in GraceKids the last weekend of August. Email the photo to joni.broker@graceoutreachcenter.org by Aug. 18.

Kids, memorize Ps. 139 and recite it to a teacher by Aug. 22 so you can be in a big church presentation in September when we recite with motions Ps. 139 for the congregation. Look at the video posted below and learn this psalm with the motions! Come by Rm. 139 after a church service to recite it to a teacher and receive your certificate, too. Ps. 139 is one of our 10 GraceKids University Scholar objectives. We’re encouraging all our kids to master 10 objectives before graduating from GraceKids at the end of their 5th grade year.

Like most areas of life, if life did come with an instruction manual most of us would not read it. Messing up is easier than you think. Pastor Brooks teaches how to not wreck your life.

If you want to create a spirited argument, just ask someone how or why they spend their money the way they do. Everyone has questions about other people’s monetary habits, but as adults we’ve learned that we don’t go there.

The youth returned from camp this weekend. The Youth Staff and Volunteers really did an amazing job, and God impacted so many teens’ lives.

There were 8 salvations and 21 teens were baptized.
